U.S. Energy announces strategic alliance with Toshiba International Corporation’s UPS Division.

U.S. Energy announced today a strategic alliance with Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) to handle its UPS business in the Western Region. Toshiba has given U.S. Energy the nod due to its favorable market penetration and impeccable service reputation within the Western United States. Denzil Merril, former Vice President at MGE and now Western Regional Manager for Toshiba, offers the following explanation: “Many users today are far better educated when it comes to UPS. Repeat users are simply fed up with being burned by low-cost units that experience rampant failures and compromise reliability. U.S. Energy is aptly suited for this alliance with Toshiba because they understand the critical nature of ensuring reliability for the nation’s leading corporations. Their commitment to reliability and value, rather than simply peddling a low-cost product, is exactly where Toshiba fits in today’s UPS market, and U.S. Energy is exactly the kind of company that has the audience and respect to get that message across.”

The alliance is in line with U.S. Energy’s mission to continuously improve upon its cadre of products and services in its mission to assist its customers in obtaining the utmost reliability while controlling capital expenditures and long term costs. While many solutions providers have focused on reducing price, U.S. Energy’s strategic alliance with Toshiba has reaffirmed its charter of insuring value to its customers.

According to U.S. Energy’s President, Ken Cotton: “Unfortunately, many manufacturers are cheapening their product offerings in an effort to preserve their own share prices and hang on to market share. While this may have good short term effects on their own business, it does little to safeguard reliability in their customer’s critical applications. We feel that the advanced technology and integrated manufacturing controls of Toshiba offer more long term value to our customers with some of the longest lasting, most trouble free UPS systems on the market today.”
