GMX

Alpha’s GMX Series CableUPS® uninterruptible power supply is a cost-effective standby power supply designed for powering signal processing equipment in cable television and broadband LAN distribution systems. It provides a critical load with current-limited, regulated, AC power that is free of spikes, surges, sags and noise. The GMX’s line interactive ferro topology allows it to compensate for input voltage variations of ±30% while providing constant output voltage.

The GMX is an ideal solution for cable operators who need a high-quality, reliable uninterruptible power supply. Broadband Ferro Series

The Lectro Ferro Series employs a simple, compact design that regulates voltage and protects against surges and spikes without complex electronics. Lectro Ferros are the perfect choice for non-standby applications where battery back-up is not required. All Lectro Ferros feature fold back protection for overload conditions and automatic recovery. An advanced heat sink design dissipates heat quickly to ensure long transformer life. Each Lectro Ferro model is available in either a pole or ground mount configuration and is deployable in a variety of applications.

APP Power Supply

The APP is a portable non-standby power supply used to provide conditioned AC power to the load when the main power supply is being serviced. Used in conjunction with the “Alternate” connector and the “ALT/ON” switch located on the enclosure’s service power inserter, power can be transferred from the main power module to the APP without interrupting the connected load. The APP90S has an internal tap that allows the unit to be set for 90/75/60VAC applications.
