PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The PEC3874B ferroresonant rectifier floats or equalizes lead-acid battery strings of 23 or 24 cells comprised of either the wet or sealed battery design. The rectifiers will facilitate positive or negative load share when used together in a system. An AC input circuit breaker is equipped on the front of the PEC3874B for protection, or to allow the user to easily power down the unit. Analog meters are provided to monitor voltage and current of the rectifier. The reduced overall size of each unit allows more rectifiers to be installed in a given space, while conduit knockouts located on both the top and front of the unit allow for flexibility.
The controlled ferroresonant design of this product provides an efficient and cost effective approach to power conversion with the benefits of enhanced reliability, reduced TIF and RFI, improved power factor, and high immunity to transients.

This rectifier may be used in the following systems:

  • 165P
  • 151N-A1
  • 165PC
  • Any distribution bay or system requiring rectifier power
