As technology continues to rapidly advance, the need for reliable power is no longer an option. Midtronics supports this requirement with testing, monitoring and maintenance products that assure power availability and cost effective management.

Midtronics' battery test equipment is a standard tool for power maintenance at most telecommunications service providers worldwide and is used by nuclear power facilities, Cable Television/broadband operators, and others where power availability is mandatory. Designed with ease of use, efficiency and accuracy at the forefront, Midtronics' industrial battery management products are the new standard for successful battery management.

Charge Control Device

CCD-100

Effectively regulate current supplied from charging system

The Midtronics Charge Control Device prevents reduced battery performance conditions associated with unregulated constant current chargers.

The Device offers temperature compensated voltage regulation for 12V monoblock batteries commonly found in telecommunications applications.

Does not interfere with post discharge equalization/recharge cycles, yet extends usable life of older power plants and batteries.

Features:

  • Temperature-compensation charge management for 12 volt monoblocks (up to 100 mA) helps to preserve battery state of health.
  • Keyed connector allows for simple installation to SLC power shelf.
  • Flame retardant plastic housing protects against fire from battery short.
  • Bright LED indicates when power is being shunted by the device, allowing for adjustment of rectifier if necessary.
